Stephen P. Stubbs Attorney at Law, Tax Law and Advanced Estate Planning stubbslaw@gmail.com, Las Vegas Stephen P. Stubbs was born in Quantico, Virginia. Being the child of a Chaplin in the Navy, many of his first years were spent living in various southern states before finally calling Boulder City, Nevada, home. He attended Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in accounting. During this time he developed a love for taxes and tax planning. After graduating from UVU, Stephen attended Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington for two years where he earned his Juris Doctor degree. While attending Gonzaga, he was president of the Tax Law Society and a tutor for several tax classes. Stephen spent one year as a visiting student at UNLV School of Law while clerking for a tax law firm in Las Vegas. There, Stephen focused on tax research and estate planning. After graduating from law school, Stephen worked at the Tax Law Center in Las Vegas, NV, where he litigated cases against the IRS and managed high net-worth estate planning. Stephen is a member of the Nevada State Bar and is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Nevada, the Federal District Court of Nevada and the U.S. Tax Court. Stephen enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 children. He loves to bake, including his deliciously unhealthy chocolate brownies (Grandma's recipe). Stephen also volunteers as a Cub Master for the Boy Scouts of America. Stephen is licensed to practice law in Nevada.
